From KXYL: Spokane Community College Partners with Company to Train Biomanufacturing Workers

“We’re not just creating jobs. We want to create careers.”

Spokane Community College partnered with Jubilant HollisterStier to launch a biomanufacturing training program this semester. The curriculum covers basic biomanufacturing operations. Students learn skills that apply directly to industry jobs. The Introduction to Biomanufacturing program guarantees students an interview for an internship with the pharmaceutical manufacturing organization after completion. The partnership addresses the need for skilled workers as the biomanufacturing industry grows in Spokane.
