Jubilant HollisterStier LLC, HollisterStier Allergy, and Spokane Community College are partnering to develop a specialized training program to prepare students for careers in pharmaceutical manufacturing. A 10-week pilot program, titled Introduction to Biomanufacturing, is scheduled to begin April 21.

The program is designed to offer a comprehensive curriculum that includes hands-on experience with new pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment, regulatory compliance training, and quality control procedures. Students will have the opportunity to learn directly from industry experts and gain practical experience through internships at Jubilant HollisterStier’s Spokane facility.

Alexa Eddy, community relations liaison with Jubilant HollisterStier, says in a release, “This collaboration will help us ensure a steady supply of skilled workers who are ready to meet the challenges of modern pharmaceutical manufacturing.”

The program is open to any students interested in a career in the field.
