We are honored to announce that Jubilant HollisterStier has been named as the Association of Washington Business (AWB) 2024 Manufacturer of the Year. This premier award recognizes a Washington state manufacturer with a commitment to achieving business excellence, finding creative solutions to challenges that help raise or enhance the industry standard, and advocating for public policy issues affecting manufacturers.

Receiving this award reflects our entire team’s unwavering commitment to excellence, innovation, and community engagement in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry.

Association of Washington Business

Founded in 1904, the AWB is Washington’s oldest and largest business association and functions as the state’s chamber of commerce. They work with businesses across the state to showcase Washington as a globally competitive region with a world-class workforce. Over 160 companies were nominated across 11 different award categories, and Jubilant HollisterStier was proudly selected as the overall winner in the manufacturing category.

A Commitment to Excellence

Being recognized as Manufacturer of the Year underscores our dedication to business excellence. At Jubilant HollisterStier, we pride ourselves on setting the standard for sterile fill-finish and injectable manufacturing. Our focus on quality, safety, and regulatory compliance has earned the trust of clients and regulatory bodies around the globe.

In 2024 we achieved key milestones, such as successfully completing inspections with zero observations and advancing critical facility expansions. These achievements reflect our relentless pursuit of operational excellence and our ability to deliver novel solutions that meet the evolving needs of our partners and patients.

Raising the Industry Standard

Innovation is at the heart of everything we do, and we take pride in addressing industry challenges head-on. From implementing cutting-edge isolator technology in our $285 million Spokane expansion to our investment in sustainable manufacturing practices, we’re constantly finding creative solutions to improve efficiency and quality.

By embracing the latest technology and seeking smarter, more efficient ways to work, we stay ahead in a rapidly evolving industry. Our team works collaboratively across every level of our organization and focuses on sustainable practices that balance responsibility with results. Recent sustainability efforts led to a 20% reduction in waste and 80% increase in yields.

Engaging in Public Policy and Supporting Our Community

Beyond our operations, we recognize the importance of being an active participant in shaping the future of manufacturing in our state. Working with the AWB and other advocacy groups allows us to contribute to public policy discussions that impact manufacturers and the communities we serve. Our ongoing expansion has created significant opportunities, with Line 3 now operational and generating 200 new jobs in Washington. Once Line 4 is fully completed, it will add an additional 200 jobs, bringing the total to 400 new positions in the state. Our employees average a seven-year tenure, and we host leadership and professional development programs to support their growth.

Locally, we’re committed to giving back to Spokane and the surrounding region. We’re involved with initiatives like Toys for Tots, backpack donation drives, and the Teddy Bear Toss in partnership with the Spokane Chiefs hockey team. Through organizational partnerships and volunteer efforts, we aim to make a lasting impact on our community while advancing our industry.

Looking Ahead

Winning the AWB Manufacturer of the Year award is not just a recognition of our past achievements—it’s an inspiration for the future.

As we continue to expand our capabilities and set new benchmarks for excellence, we remain focused on delivering innovative solutions, fostering meaningful partnerships, and serving patients worldwide. We’re scheduling time on our newest line, line 3, and we’ve broken ground on constructing line 4. Once line 4 is live, JHS will be able to produce over 60 million vials and service over 300 million patients annually around the world.

We are deeply grateful to the AWB for this incredible honor and to our entire Jubilant HollisterStier team for making this achievement possible. Together, we look forward to raising the bar even higher in years to come. Thank you for celebrating this achievement with us.
